Kamla Ankibai Ghamandiram Gowani Trust Promotes Anemia Free India At Shree Siddhivinayak Temple In Mumbai

Mumbai : In a dedicated effort to promote a healthier and anemia-free India, the Kamla Ankibai Ghamandiram Gowani Trust organized a special event at the revered Shree Siddhivinayak Temple. The event aimed to raise awareness about anemia and provide essential resources to combat the condition. Over 100 individuals, both male and female, underwent blood tests for anemia as part of this initiative.

Anemia, a common blood disorder characterized by low levels of red blood cells or hemoglobin, affects a significant portion of the population, particularly women and children. Recognizing the importance of addressing this health issue, the trust took the initiative to promote Anemia Mukt Bharat (Anemia Free India) and create awareness about preventive measures.

People from various walks of life, including temple employees and visitors, were encouraged to undergo blood tests to check for anemia. The program provided support and care to all participants, emphasizing the trust’s dedication to the well-being of the community.

Aarti Salvi, trustee of Shree Siddhivinayak Temple, expressed her appreciation for the Kamla Ankibai Ghamandiram Gowani Trust’s efforts. She stated, “It is a very pious effort of the trust to raise awareness about the importance of preventing anemia. Over 100 of our employees, both male and female, underwent blood tests for the same.” This initiative reflects the temple’s commitment to the overall health and welfare of its staff members and the community it serves.
