Actor Vivek Oberoi has a special message for Rocking Star Yash as the latter gears up to bring Ravana to life in Nitesh Tiwari’s much-awaited Ramayana. Taking to social media, Vivek shared a heartfelt note for Yash, addressing him as his “on-screen brother-in-law and real-life brother” and extending his best wishes for the epic.
Sharing the message straight from “Ravana’s Lanka”, Vivek wrote, “A special message for my on-screen brother-in-law and real-life brother, Yash, straight from Ravana’s Lanka! Wishing you all the very best as you bring the mighty Ravana to life and take this epic story of Shri Ram and Ravana to audiences across the world. Looking forward to witnessing this grand spectacle. Vivek’s message adds to the anticipation surrounding Yash’s portrayal of one of Indian mythology’s most iconic characters. Beyond headlining the film as Ravana, Yash is also associated with Ramayana as a producing partner through his production company, Monster Mind Creations, collaborating with Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios. Adding another significant dimension to his involvement, Yash’s production company is also handling the film’s distribution in the Karnataka region, further strengthening his role in bringing this ambitious cinematic spectacle to audiences.
The camaraderie between the two actors, who share an on-screen family connection as brothers-in-law and a warm bond off-screen, makes Vivek’s wishes particularly special as the film gears up for its theatrical release.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana is produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in collaboration with Yash’s Monster Mind Creations. The first instalment of the two-part epic is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on November 5, 2026.
